Welcome to the Water Audit Council (WAC), an esteemed initiative by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) dedicated to advancing water sustainability across India.
At WAC, our primary mission is to promote water conservation and efficiency through comprehensive water audit services tailored for various institutions within India’s built environment.
We offer specialized water audit solutions to a diverse range of establishments, assisting them in understanding and optimizing their water usage patterns. Through our services, we aim to empower organizations to adopt sustainable water management practices that not only conserve this vital resource but also contribute to a greener future.

ABOUT IPA
Indian Plumbing Association
Indian Plumbing Association is an NGO, an apex body of plumbing professionals in India established in 1993, with the objective to promote development of plumbing and building services industry. The IPA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Water Mission (NWM), Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) dated 7th July 2023, to promote public education, awareness, and outreach programs on water stewardship. The MoU focuses on collaborating on initiatives aimed at reducing water consumption and raising awareness regarding the looming water crisis, ultimately moving towards achieving Net Zero neutrality in water and waste management. Consequently, the IPA has formed ‘Water Audit Council’, to promote water sustainability throughout India. As part of our initiative, we endeavour to offer comprehensive water audit services to various institutions nationwide, thereby monitoring water consumption across urban landscapes, aligning with one of the pivotal objectives outlined in the MoU.
